As you have likely seen already on Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else on the news, a 6-year old from Wyoming made headlines last week when he heroically stepped in front of his 4-year old sister as a dog was charging and likely saved her life. Bridger Walker received 90 stitches in a two-hour surgery after surviving the dog attack.

My nephew is a hero who saved his little sister from an attacking dog,” Bridger’s aunt Nicole Walker posted on Instagram, along with pair of photos with the two siblings. “He, himself, took on the attack so that the dog wouldn’t get his sister”. He later said, ‘If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me’.”
