Disney has been on fire with the inclusion recently. First, they aired their first confirmed bi character on Disney Channel, now, they’re debuting their first ever adaptive Halloween costumes. There are 3 costumes and 2 wheelchair accessories.
Buzz Lightyear
This one piece costume makes being their favorite character easier than ever. It comes with a 1 – piece costume with longer legs that are wider than the average costume. Other features include a flap in the front for tube access. It also comes with Buzz Lightyear gloves and a purple headpiece.
Cinderella
The Cinderella dress is an authentic Disney Princess costume. It opens in the back for easy dressing, and also contains a front flap allowing for tube access. It matches the Cinderella Coach Wheelchair Cover set for a complete look. The wheelchair cover includes 6 felt covers and 12 plastic pipes for extra support. Each is sold separately.
The Incredibles
The Incredibles costume is similar to the Buzz Lightyear one, although it comes with an eye mask instead of a head piece. Like the Buzz Lightyear costume, the legs are longer and roomier, and it has a front flap. You can also purchase an Incredimobile Wheelchair Cover set to match the costume. It comes with 2 felt pieces and 22 plastic support pipes. Each is sold separately.
Each costume and wheelchair cover can be purchased for $49.99 on the shopDisney website. What costumes would you like to see Disney make accessible in the future?
