Halloween is one of my favorite times of year! The dressing up, the pumpkin carving, and the candy makes it one of the best holidays. Disneyland always makes sure to add some extra magic to it’s park come October. Along with that comes some changes to a few of their rides. Some “dressing up” of their own if you will.
The Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland gets one of the most elaborate changes during this season. But which Haunted Mansion is the best? Holiday or regular? Thankfully, we have some help figuring this out! Chris over at Provost Park Pass has dove headfirst into this dilemma and have given us a lot to think over. (Check out the Haunted Mansion here, and Haunted Mansion Holiday here.)
Taking inspiration from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, the attraction retells the story of Jack Skellington (as “Sandy Claws”) visiting the Haunted Mansion, leaving holiday chaos in his wake. Jack brings along some of his creepy crew including Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie, and of course Lock, Shock, and Barrel to help liven the spirits of the 999 haunts.
So whether you’re dressing up as a ghost, a princess, or even one of Hades Minions, make sure to check out these videos and let us know which Haunted Mansion you like best!
