Unable to shell out $1,500 to see Lin-Manuel Miranda and co. perform his revolutionary musical on Broadway? Don’t worry, Disney+ has you covered with the July 3rd release of ‘Hamilton’ exclusive only to Disney Plus. The platform will also release a second original film as Beyonce returns to Disney+ after starring in the ‘Lion King’ reboot with the July 31st release of ‘Black is King’. The press release promises a tale for “today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns” and honor “the voyages of Black families throughout time” as it tells the story of “a young king’s transcendent journey through betrayal, love and self-identity.”

On July 23rd, you will be able to watch ‘A Look inside Marvel’s 616’, a documentary that focuses on the role of women in Marvel Comics. On July 25th, you can view a discussion regarding Disney+’s original movie: ‘Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe’. The last piece, ‘The Right Stuff’, is a series about NASA’s Mercury Seven team produced by National Geographic and will also be streamed on July 25th.
