The Mandalorian Season 2 Official Trailer
The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer. (Disney+)
Based on the 1:52 min trailer, it appears the next trek for the unlikely duo is for Mando to reunite the child with it’s own kind. The voice of ‘The Armorer’ ominously talks about “stories of eons past” describing great battles between the Mandalorian and “an orderer of sorcerers known as Jedi.” It’s the first explicit mention of the Jedi in The Mandalorian.
The most prominent Disney+ exclusive to date brings it’s second season to the platform just under a year after the debut of it’s first season (November 12, 2019) and only 10 months following it’s S1 Finale on December 27th. The return of The Mandalorian should help Disney+ continue it’s momentum into the winter months following a big summer of exclusive releases including the live-action remake of ‘Mulan’.
This is the way.
