Walt Disney World Annual Pass Sales Have Been Paused Indefinitely

Caitlyn Burke

The Walt Disney World Resort has begun selling new tickets and hotel bookings for 2020 and beyond, but for those of you wanting to renew or buy annual passes, you’ll be waiting just a little bit longer to do so. The Annual Passholder drama has been non-stop throughout quarantine and it only continues. From not being able to cancel passes to being charged thousands of dollars in payment plan dues incorrectly, there has definitely been doubts by guests as to whether or not an annual pass is worth it.

In an effort to honor existing Annual Passholders and ticket holders Disney only allowed these two groups to make park reservations upon its initial release. In the past week has new ticket sales have begun, so the good news is that anyone wishing to visit the Walt Disney World Resort can purchase tickets and make park reservations right now (depending upon availability of course). However, annual pass sales will continue to be put on hold indefinitely, which is unfortunate for those of you who were planning on purchasing one soon. The parks at Disney have definitely opened, but not everything is back to normal just yet.
