Oh, bother! Another thing I must have!
Earlier today, LEGO unveiled a new Disney-themed set that features Winnie the Pooh and his friends! The set depicts author A.A. Milne’s ever-popular characters in the Hundred Acre Wood all made from LEGO bricks.
Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore are all included in the 1,265 piece set. LEGO VIP members will be among the first to purchase the set starting on March 18th. After that, the general public will be able to place orders on April 1st. It will retail for $99.99 USD. You can become a VIP member for free by clicking here.
This set is apart of LEGO Ideas. Creators submit their set renderings and ideas onto the Ideas site with the hopes of getting enough supporters for the set to be produced by LEGO. Disney and LEGO fan Ben Alder submitted his idea for a Winnie the Pooh set back in March of 2019. In July of that year, Alder’s project reached the required 10,000 votes in order to be considered for production. LEGO then approved the set in February 2020.
Alder’s original design can be seen below:
