(KGO) — ANAHEIM, Calif. Not only will a brand-new land at Disney California Adventure park offer super-sized enjoyment, but it will also provide a super-priced lunch.
The Avengers Campus in Disneyland will open on June 4th. There will be a new Marvel Land’s Pym Test Kitchen restaurant with a $100 Pym-ini sandwich available for purchase. It’s one of Disneyland’s most costly foods, and the price has made news on multiple Disney fan blogs.
So, for $100, what do you get? On toasted focaccia, the sandwich features salami, rosemary ham, provolone, and sun-dried tomato spread. It comes with arugula salad and marinara dipping sauce.
While $100 for a sandwich is a lot of money, the Pym-ini serves six to eight people.
At Marvel Land, the Pym Test Kitchen will serve hero-sized meals and sweets. Meals that have been decreased or enlarged in size will be served at the quick-service restaurant.
Pym Particles, the same technology that shrank Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be used to “resize” foods. Customers may even watch a pretzel grow and shrink as it passes through the quantum tunnel in front of the cooking laboratory, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
