It’s only night 1 of the Emmy awards announcements (that it is eligible for), but “The Mandalorian” is already coming out on top. The breakout Star Wars Disney+ series has fans and critics alike hooked. The show was nominated for 15 Emmy’s in total.
Although many expected the hit show to do well, no one could’ve predicted how well. Especially when you look at some of the powerhouses it was up against, such as “Stranger Things” and “Schitt’s Creek.” Check out the 5 Emmy Awards the show has already won below.

Outstanding Cinematography for a Single – Camera Series (half hour)
“The Mandalorian” won this category for “Chapter 7: The Reckoning.”
Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half – Hour) and Animation
“The Mandalorian” won this category for “Chapter 2: The Child.”
Outstanding Special Visual Effects
“The Mandalorian” won this category for “Chapter 2: The Child.”
Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half – Hour)
“The Mandalorian” won this category for “Chapter 1: The Mandalorian.”
In addition to these 5 wins, “The Mandalorian” is still up for Best Drama, Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance, 3 single-camera Picture editing for a drama series, music composition, a guest actor in a drama series (Giancarlo Esposito), and stunt coordination for a drama series, limited series or movie.
