“The Book of Boba Fett” and “The Mandalorian” are Separate Shows, Lucasfilm Artist States.
If you were like me, crying through the end credits of the season finale of The Mandalorian, you probably were shocked to see the small tidbit at the end introducing a new spin-off series announced, The Book of Boba Fett.
However, due to some rumors on the internet that Boba Fett would be replacing Mando in The Mandalorian, many fans were concerned this confirmed it. However, Lucasfilm Artist, Paul Bateman, states that while he doesn’t officially represent Disney or Lucasfilm in announcements such as these, he can confirm there are two completely separate shooting schedules, and that Pedro Pascal has already been signed for the upcoming season 3 of The Mandalorian.
On some exciting news, both The Mandalorian season 3, and The Book of Boba Fett, are set to premiere on Disney+ in December of 2021. So mark your calendars for a very Star Wars holiday season!
