Temperature Screening Tents Pop Up at Walt Disney World Parks

With the opening of the parks right around the corner, cast members at Walt Disney World continue to prepare the parks for the grand opening. Changes are abound in order to ensure safety for guests and cast members; this includes the implementation of temperature checks before guests enter the parks.

This first tent is situated at the entrance to Magic Kingdom, near the bus stop where guests travel to and from resorts on property. Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open to the public alongside Animal Kingdom on July 11th.

At the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we see two tents set up before the entrance. This park will open with EPCOT on July 15th.

A photo of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom entrance displays two temperature check tents. The small tent toward the side may be for cast members.

The entrance area to EPCOT shows additional tents.

The Ticket and Transportation Center has several white tents set up for temperature checks, as well. At this time, resorts are not requiring temperature checks for guests; this safety measure currently applies only to park entry.
