Earlier this week, Disney delighted fans by sharing a brief video exploring its already existing Ratatouille ride in Disneyland Paris. The Disneyland Paris ride entitled Ratatouille: The Adventure shrinks guests down to the size of rats to explore scenes from the 2007 Pixar film. EPCOT’s version will be called Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
The video doesn’t take viewers through the entire Paris ride, but it does provide interesting facts along the way. Did you know the ride has a 25-foot-tall ham that weighs a ton?
Like the Paris version, it will be a dark ride with trackless vehicles. There’s no word if EPCOT’s version will be the same as the already existing ride, but the rat vehicles, or ‘ratmobiles’, do look similar. Below is what the EPCOT ride vehicles will look like.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is under construction in EPCOT’s France Pavilion. The ride was originally slated to open in Summer 2020, but with the pandemic, the opening has been pushed back. It’s possible the ride could open up later this year or even into next year.
You can watch Ratatouille and the short film Your Friend the Rat on Disney+!
