Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Adventure Coming in 2021

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel Experience, according to Disney Officials, has become a top priority project. This new experience is based at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The hope is to have everything completed, and ready to open by the parks 50th anniversary celebration next year.

Guests will be able to experience Star Wars in an entirely new way. Disney has created an all immersive experience that takes guest to a galaxy far far away, aboard the Galactic Starcruiser Halcyon. Think of it more as a Disney Cruise than a trip to the parks. An itinerary is set for your two day stay. Interact with aliens, explore the ship, and become your own heroes.

Once you enter Walt Disney World, guests will go to a Star Wars terminal, kind of like a cruise terminal. Then, you and your family will be taken to a launch pod. You will experience “flying” out into outer space. Once docked and the pod doors open, you will step out into the atrium. Your journey to a galaxy far far away has begun!

The accommodations are something you’ve never experienced. Kids can sleep in a bunk bed just like the one Chewy stayed in. And, each room also has their own window that will show a view into outer space. These cabins will be able to sleep up to five.

There will be plenty of activities aboard the Halcyon to enjoy as well. Learn the traditional art of wielding a lightsaber, just like Luke. Check out the engineering room and learn about the inner workings of the ship. Or, head to the bridge, and operate the ships navigation… with the crew’s guidance of course. There might even be an unscheduled stop to Batuu.

I grew up on Disney and being from Arizona, I was able to go every summer with my family. My love of all things Disney has just grown over time and have now been instilled into my marriage and our three wonderful kids! We love Disney and go as often as we can.
