Ever since the Walt Disney World theme parks reopened, guests have been eager to ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. The PeopleMover closed in early March, prior to COVID-19 related closures, and hasn’t been in operation since.

While Disney hasn’t released an official statement regarding the cause of the closure, they’ve updated their website to give a time-estimate for its length. Currently, the PeopleMover is set to be closed for refurbishment through October 31st. On November 1st, the ride is listed as open! The Mouse isn’t shutting this ride down for good anytime soon — guests have reportedly seen social distancing lines in the queue. That’s good news! We sure are excited to step into the Land of Tomorrow once again.
