Sarah Jessica Parker may have accidentally just spilled the potion over on Instagram regarding the original Sanderson trio’s return in Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+. We first reported the sequel’s confirmation when Disney officially hired the writer for Hocus Pocus 2!
Following last week’s exciting news that Jen D’Angelo has officially been hired to write the script for the sequel we’ve all been dying for, on Halloween SJP posted a picture of herself, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy from the first film on her verified Instagram account with the caption “Halloween 2019 One for the books X, SJ.”
Follower @ajchum innocently asks her the question we all wanted the answer to, “Any chance of a sequel?! [Fingers crossed emoji, praying hands emoji]”
The real shocker comes when SJP replies to the fan with, “@ajchum we have all said yes. Now we wait. X”
After almost 30 years, this possible slip-up on her part is just going to add fuel to the fire and further proves this project is going to be a reality. Now we have the writer hired, and hearing from SJP that all 3 Sanderson sisters are in to make an appearance should the script call for them, this should put a lot of doubtful naysayers in their place, and let the true fans start getting hyped! I mean, it’s not like we had to wait 300 years for a virgin to light a candle or anything!
