Starting on November 3rd Disney’s Hollywood Studios is changing the way it handles it’s virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance. Read below for all the details!
Here is how the virtual queue will work:
- Guests with a valid ticket, or a annual pass + a Disney Park Pass reservation can access the virtual queue starting at 7a.m. the day of their reservation. Guests will select an available boarding group, and can do this from anywhere, no longer just at the park.
- If a guest misses that first virtual queue, they can try again when it reopens at 2p.m. The difference is you must be in Disney’s Hollywood Studios when opening the queue. Unfortunately, this second queue doesn’t guarantee a boarding opportunity, so it’s better to plan ahead!
This change eliminates the stress of needing to be at the park early, and allows family more time to get ready and relax before heading to the park! New safety features have been added in response to the current pandemic. A barrier has been implemented between the two rows to allow more guests to ride, but to do so safely.
In order to access the virtual queue guests must have the My Disney Experience App. Register your account, link your ticket, have a valid reservation for the date of check-in and plan ahead, queues fill up quickly!
