Memorial for Chadwick Boseman Goes Up at Downtown Disney
Chadwick Boseman’s passing shocked the world. The Marvel actor surprisingly passed away August 28, 2020 of cancer. The actor, who played Black Panther in the Marvel universe, was beloved by many. To honor him, Disney has unveiled a mural in Downtown Disney.
The mural, done by Nikkolas Smith, depicts Chadwick Boseman and a young child with cancer. The two are doing the ‘Wakanda Forever’ salute to each other. The beautiful mural is located in the ESPN zone.
The tribute is a nod to Boseman’s charity work. He spent a lot of time at the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital visiting patients with cancer and other life threatening issues. Unbeknownst to most, while visiting, he was battling his own cancer battle. He hid his condition, and focused on making the children smile.
What do you think of the tribute?
