Lost Pirate, Johnny Depp, Pens Letter After Losing His Role

2020 was a tough year; but for our lost pirate, Johnny Depp, it was something else. His year was in the spotlight for everyone to see. After losing his libel case against ex-wife, Amber Heard, Johnny lost pretty much everything. One of the biggest… his role as our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow.

However, this lost pirate wants to start off 2021 with a positive outlook. Especially after the year he just had.

Depp took to Instagram over the weekend. He posted the intro to William Saroyan’s 1939 “The Time of Your Life”. The passage says to look for the good in life while getting rid of the bad. Help yourself to grow, and to purify yourself of the negativity in your life.

Depp goes on to post a little New Years letter to all of his fans and followers:

A New Year’s wish to all.

Though the world is in mourning for better days, I hope all of you are able to find a moment tonight to smile and more importantly, to laugh and make others laugh, as much as possible.

I know this may be difficult in the midst of these trying times, but I wish nothing but happiness and health to all.

May you be surrounded in perfection.

With all my love and respect, JD

Despite the year Johnny has had, he is choosing to spread kindness. His words perfectly sum up his outlook for 2021.

Many Pirates of the Caribbean fans have taken to social media to show their support for Johnny. They are saying that he is irreplaceable as Captain Jack Sparrow. This comes after talk of Margot Robbie taking his place and becoming the new Jack Sparrow.

For many fans, there is only one Captain Jack Sparrow, and that is Johnny Depp.
