‘Lightyear’ to Give Origin Story of Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear

With yet another blockbuster announcement, Disney and Pixar revealed that we will learn more about Buzz Lightyear.

The film will hopefully be released in theaters on June 17th, 2022. It’s a long way away but fans were able to get a sneak peek with a short video tweeted out by Pixar’s account.

Okay, maybe it wasn’t much of a sneak peek. But at least we know the film is in the works and will be an epic sci-fi adventure.

We also got this still featuring everyone’s favorite Space Ranger.

Chris Evans, most famous for his role as Marvel hero Captain America, will voice the original Buzz Lightyear.

To infinity and beyond! (and hopefully to theaters in 2022!)
