On November 22, 2019 the world was introduced to Frozen II where we were transported back to Arendelle to follow Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf on an epic journey to the Enchanted Forest! In the Enchanted Forest we were introduced to lovable characters like Bruni the fire spirit and Gale the wind spirit. Adults and children alike started asking “Samantha?” and telling Olaf’s animal trivia to anyone who would listen! Frozen II became a World Wide Phenomenon and when the epidemic hit, Disney granted us a wish and brought Frozen II to Disney Plus! As the world has fallen in love with Frozen II, Disney has once again surprised us all with Into the Unknown: Making Frozen II that began streaming on Disney Plus on June 26th. Each episode allows us a peek inside the Disney Animations Studio, where we see Elsa, Anna, Sven, Kristoff, and Olaf come to life!

From the computer screen, to the animation screen, to the final big screen; we are shown just how Frozen II came to be. The magic of Disney is presented to us thru the eyes of the voice actors and actresses as we are allowed to witness the recording of the hit songs “Lost in the Woods” and “Show Yourself”. The creation and animation of Elsa’s final dress in Episode 5, along with seeing what a rough form of the movie looked like really brings a deeper understanding behind Frozen II. When Kristen Bell and Chris Buck share the deep meaning of Anna’s song “The Next Right Thing”, we find our eyes wide open to the hardworking and dedication each actor and actress puts into each character. By the time we have reached the last Episode, we have cried, laughed and sang along with our favorite characters. We have been completely transformed by their touching stories, hard times, and final destinations. We know that adventure is always on the horizon for Elsa and Anna and can only hope that one day Disney will bring us back to Arendelle for a visit.
