Hear Christina Aguilera Take a Classic Disney Song to a Whole New Level

With the unconventional release of the live-action remake of the 1998 animated classic Mulan just a week away, Disney has debuted a music video depicting a new take on the film’s breakout song “Reflection”.

The new music video for this song is mixed with clips from the film and Aguilera signing.

The 2020 version of the song is sung by awarding-winning artist Christina Aguilera. Interestingly enough, Aguilera’s career was jumpstarted 22 years ago when she sang the pop version of “Reflection’ for the original animated movie. Lea Salonga lent her voice for the film version of the song.

Although the 2020 Mulan will not be filled with musical numbers or the fan-favorite dragon Mushu, Disney still released the powerful updated version of “Reflection” and a new song entitled “Loyal Brave True”. Both songs are sung by Christina Aguilera.

Mulan will finally be released on Disney+ for $29.99 beginning on September 4th. The original animated version, as well as its sequel, are now available to stream for free with a Disney+ subscription
