As the world continues to fall in love with broadway’s ‘Hamilton’ after it premiered theatrically on Disney+ last week, impressionist Ricky Downes III used his talents to merge the broadway hit with the Muppets. Singing the ENTIRE first act as the characters of the Muppets while mixing in some jokes, Downes video on YouTube has exploded despite being over an hour long. The characters portrayed:
- Kermit the Frog as Alexander Hamilton
- The Great Gonzo as Aaron Burr
- Miss Piggy as Eliza Schuyler
- Fozzie Bear as “Marquis de LaFozette”
- Sam the Eagle as George Washington
- Camilla the Chicken as Angelica Schuyler
- Beaker as John Laurens
- Rowlf the Dog as Hercules Mulligan
- Animal as King George III
- Janice as Peggy Schuyler
- The Swedish Chef as Samuel Seabury
- Elmo as Charles Lee
- Floyd and Zoot as Congressional Delegates
- Crazy Harry as Crazy Patriot
- Statler and Waldorf as Themselves
