Guests may start taking mask-less photos at some of the Disney parks. Starting on April 8th, some changes (regarding masks) will be happening at Walt Disney World.
As of this morning, Disney has updated their policies on masks.
“Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up). Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times. Except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*. But you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time.” (*Beginning April 8)
Being indoors, the old rule still applies, and you must continue wearing your face mask. It is more difficult to remain six feet apart indoors, and therefore, far more unsafe. Up until this point, The Walt Disney Company has been very strict on enforcing their mask wearing rules. Especially with taking photographs throughout the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs. However, things are looking up. If you have enough distance between you and others, you will temporarily be allowed to take off your mask.
What do you think of this new policy? Are you happy to finally get a little breathing room with these masks? Or would you rather keep them on?
