The fan-favorite attraction at Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, is currently undergoing refurbishment. Although many believed this refurbishment might finally lead to the repair of “Disco Yeti”, according to sources, it seems that this maintenance is just a typical closure for minor repairs.

The intense roller coaster might not be for the faint of heart, but it’s a must-do for many Animal Kingdom visitors. Even with the immobile Disco Yeti and his flashing lights, guests will miss this ride until it finally reopens in a few months. But fear not–the Disco Yeti will dance again. In the meantime, Flight of Passage or the Kali River Rapids will have to satisfy daredevils visiting the park.
