A few months ago, we reported that Disneyland unfortunately canceled their reopening plans set for July 17th. Since then, Disneyland Resort guests with reservations have been routinely receiving cancellation emails. Today, guests with reservations through August 29th received the dreaded email.
The message read:
“We are sorry to inform you that your upcoming visit with us will be impacted by several closures. We recognize that the COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving, and there are many factors that are helping us determine the timing of when various aspects of our business will reopen in a responsible way.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park remain closed and will reopen at a later date, pending state and local government approvals. The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort are also closed and will reopen at a later date. Given this unprecedented situation, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through this process as responsibly as we can.“
Currently, the Downtown Disney District remains open, with safety precautions in place.
Alongside this news, Disney Cruise Line has canceled all sailings for November 2020. Disney recently announced that the suspension of all departures would last until at least October 31st. However, no November departures are listed on their website, as of today. The earliest available cruise is arranged to set sail on December 4th, 2020. Step aboard the Disney Dream and travel to the Bahamas! We sure hope that it will be safe to travel by the holidays.
