Disneyland Cancels Reopening Plans For July 17th, 2020!

Hours ago, Disneyland has confirmed they now plan on remaining closed for the foreseeable future. Citing that the company won’t have enough time to open after California government releases specification guidelines. Disney has to coordinate with thousands of employees and multiple unions to bring back their workforce.

It appears Disney had the best intentions on being transparent with their fans and workforce. Although Disneyland remains closed for now, Downtown Disney will go ahead and open July 9th.

June 23rd, California had a record 7,149 new COVID-19 cases and it is unknown how the spike in new cases will affect the reopening of any domestic U.S. property.
