Disney has been on a roll lately with its efforts to keep the magic of the parks alive while they’re temporarily closed. They recently shared recipes for churro bites, Dole whips, and Walt’s delicious Chili recipe, but it turns out Disney has been letting us in on these little food secrets for a while now. In fact, we spotted a recipe for another delicious Disney food item: Cookie Fries!
In case you’re unfamiliar, you can normally get these plant-based cookie fries at the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. They’re similar to biscotti, being crispy, sweet, chocolatey, and overall delicious.
They may look pretty gourmet, but the recipe Disney shared only includes six different ingredients to achieve cookie fry glory (plus water, but we’re not counting that). As mentioned, this recipe is plant-based, so it features things like plant-based margarine and a liquid egg substitute, but if that’s not your jam, you can pretty easily make swaps for dairy products.
The recipe cooks up more than 30 cookie fries, perfect to keep on hand for a quick after-dinner dessert or even a pairing for your morning coffee…or to share with your family during a Disney+ marathon. Find the recipe here.
At this point, we have so many Disney at-home recipes, you could throw yourself a pretty delicious feast that will transport you right to the parks. Just throw on a pair of ears, pull up video of your favorite ride, and there you are!
