It’s National Roller Coaster day, so I sat down and ranked every roller coaster at Disney. I don’t particularly love roller coasters, but I will go on them at Disney because, it’s Disney. Check out the scores below, and let me know what you think!
This is one of my favorites at Disney. I love the theme, it always makes it feel colder, even in August. I’m also a sucker for rides with jump scares. Finally, it has a single rider line, which pro – tip, is the way to go if you want to get on a ride quickly!
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
This coaster is one of the most thematically sound coasters ever. It combines an animatronic mine trip with a fun coaster. In addition, even though the wait tends to be long, the queue is super fun. Finally, the video that you get in addition to your pictures is a great memory.
Slinky Dog Dash
Slinky Dog Dash is a newer coaster at the parks, and it shows. It’s a smooth ride, with not that many thrills. It’s definitely very kid friendly, but I love anything Toy Story.
Big Thunder Mountain
This roller coaster is one of my “it’s ok” rides. If the line for it is short, I’ll go on, but I don’t go out of my way to ride it. I will say, it is a good starter coaster for the little ones, fun, but not too scary.
This one is less controversial to rank semi – low on the list. It’s a good coaster, but I do wish it was more like Disneyland’s. It’s a classic dark coaster, and enjoyable to ride.
Rock N’ Roller Coaster
I’m going to get hate for this, but I do not love this coaster. Although it’s theme is cool, it never feels super Disney for me. In addition, it makes me pretty queasy. If you LOVE roller coasters, you probably love this one though. My husband will hate me for putting it this low on the list.
This one is GREAT for kids, but I don’t think I’ve ever met an adult who loves this coaster. It’s one of the older coasters in Disney, and can cause whiplash and claustrophobia in most adults.
These controversial opinions are only my own. Let me know what you think below!
