On October 16th, the film Clouds will be available to stream on Disney+. The film is based on the life of teen musician Zach Sobiech who fought osteosarcoma. A trailer for the film was released earlier today.
The film also draws inspiration from a book entitled Fly a Little Higher: How God Answered a Mom’s Small Prayer in a Big Way written by Zach’s mom Laura Sobiech about her son’s battle.
Zach was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, at age 14. While receiving treatment for his cancer, he took up songwriting. His song ‘Clouds’ chronicled his battle with the disease and even charted on the Billboard top 100 following his death at age 18 in 2013.
Fin Argus will play Zach Sobiech. Other cast members include Madison Iseman, Sabrina Carpenter, Neve Campbell, Tom Everett Scott, and Lil Rel Howery.
The film will for sure be a tear-jerker, so be sure to grab a fresh box of tissues when you stream in this coming October.
