“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our cast member Yesenia Aguilar and we offer our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones.”
Disney issued the statement after a cast member, Yesenia Lisette Aguilar, was killed by a drunk driver. She was 23 years old and eight months pregnant when a drunk driver took her life.
Aguilar was on a walk with her husband at 7:30am on Wendesday, August 12 near Disney California Adventure theme park. Drunk driver Courtney Pandolfi, 40, jumped the curb in her jeep and struck Aguilar. Pandolfi is a resident of Garden Grove, and already has 2 DUIs on her record. After the accident, Aguilar was rushed to the hospital, and gave birth to a daughter, Adalyn Rose, via caesarian. Unfortunately, Adalyn is still in critical condition.

Pandolfi was booked early Wednesday morning. Her charges include murder, DUI, and driving with a suspended license. Her bail is set at $1 Million.
