D23 is the ultimate Disney fan event. It’s held every 2 years in Anaheim, CA, next slated for summer 2021. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the event is cancelled for 2021. However, instead of waiting until 2023, it’s going to be done in 2022.
The event is normally full of major announcements, Disney character panels, and exclusive footage. The last one, held in 2019, is where we learned about “Jungle Cruise,” the Obi – Wan Kenobi series, and the Marvel Disney+ TV shows. The upcoming event comes as Disney plans to unveil plans for the 100th Anniversary.
