2020 has been branded the “Year of the Mouse” by the Chinese zodiac. Taking advantage of this opportunity, D23 has released a series of Amazon-exclusive Mickey plushes, with a new plush arriving each month. Each plush comes in limited supply, and sells out quickly. Let’s take a look at the August arrival!
The August Amazon-exclusive Mickey plush features the beloved Captain theme. From Steamboat Willie to an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey is well-acquainted with the high seas. According to D23, the plush is made with high-quality linen fabric, along with embroidered eyes and buttons. At 16 inches tall, the Captain Mickey plush comes in a window box with a “Year of the Mouse” design, alongside a Certificate of Authenticity. D23 clarifies on their website that D23 members reserve the first opportunity to purchase the monthly plush. The website states:

Year of the Mouse Collection
