21 year old UCF student Cyan Nardiello was a college student making minimum wage at a daycare center. Now, she’s a self proclaimed “Disney Nanny,” impressing her family and the internet.
Being a college student is tough, between work and school, it can be hard to have fun. Cyan Nardiello was tired of it, “I wanted more for myself, and I also wanted to work for myself,” she said. So she decided to do something new and adventurous. She bought a Disney pass and connected with a family who had bought their daughter a Disney pass. She offered to take their daughter to Disney and the family took her up on it. Now, she works full time as a “Disney Nanny.”
For the past year, Nardiello has helped local Orlando families as well as vacationing ones. For locals, Nardiello picks up the child, lets them pick the park, and they enjoy a fun filled adventure. They do everything the child wants to do; eat, meet characters, ride the rides, and play games. At the end of the day, Nardiello brings them safely home. For families who are vacationing, Nardiello meets them and spends some time with them before taking the kids.
She opened up about her experience on Tik Tok where her videos went viral and caused a lot of copycats. The young entrepreneur charges a base of $25/hour. She offers discounts for families that book 4+ hours and sisters/alumni of Zeta Tau Alpha. Looking to book with the “Disney Nanny?” Email her at themeparknanny@gmail.com.
