Cast Connection closed when Disney World did, and today, it finally reopened. Cast Connection is a store only open to Cast members. There, they can find out – of – season products, slightly damaged goods, and cast member exclusives. It is an important show of appreciation to hard working cast members, and now, Cast Connection is going a step further.
Unfortunately, there are still Cast Members furloughed. Therefore, Cast Connection is selling discounted food and produce to those Cast Members. It may not be a lot, but it is the least Disney can be doing right now. The discounted produce was a huge hit this morning, and the line was down the road. Hopefully, this helps Cast Members out a little bit until they can return to work.
