Following the passing of Chadwick Boseman, Whoopi Goldberg is calling for Disney to take action. In a tweet, posted last night, she asks Disney to build Wakanda instead of another “Frozen” land.
“Dear People in charge of building NEW experiences Disney Land and World we don’t really need another Frozen land BUT what we could use is Wakonda, please Disneyworld Disneyland PLEASE build in Chadwick Boseman’s name WAKONDA”
Many twitter users agreed with Goldberg’s tweet. Fortunately, Marvel’s Avenger’s Campus, at Disneyland, is going to feature a “Black Panther” component. The unnamed ride will have fans board the quinjet, and fly to Wakanda. Here, guests will join Black Panther and the other Avengers in a fight against Thanos.
Unfortunately, the opening of Avenger’s Campus was delayed due to Disneyland’s ongoing closure. When it opens, I’m sure that Black Panther will get the recognition he deserves.
