Broken Window on Main Street at Disney World

At 2:25 today, as one of our team was walking down Main Street, they noticed part of the sidewalk was closed and roped off. Upon further investigation a window can be seen that has cracked and broken right next to the Crystal Arts store. Cast members were seen guarding the area below for the safety of guests . Another cast member can be seen upstairs in the room where the window broke. No further information is available at this time.

No one is sure what happened, but a window broke on Main Street. It’s possible that it was just a crack; or possibly someone threw something and broke it. But Cast Members currently have the area roped off.

The window that was broken was in honor of two of Roy Disney’s children. On the left window was Roy Patrick and Abigail. In the middle was Roy Disney, and on the right was Susan and Timothy.

The store underneath- Arribas Brothers, Crystal Arts Store has locations in many of of the Disney Parks around the world. From glass blowing and etching, to the use of lasers and 3D technology, each Arribas Brothers shop features glass artisans from around the world creating interactive shopping experiences using old and new world tools and techniques.

Thankfully, no other damage has been reported.
