To infinity, AND BEYOND! Alaskan Airlines this week just unveiled its sixth airplane to feature a tribute to Disney and its characters. This plane is named “Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort”. The shell of the airplane exterior required more than 2,800 work hours of painting and took over 24 days! The painters used more than 50 gallons of paint to complete this mural!
“There’s nothing better than landing happy on the way to The Happiest Place on Earth,” exclaimed Natalie Bowman, Alaska Airlines’ managing director of brand marketing and advertising.
“The Disneyland Resort is one of our signature West Coast friendships, and we love that we can celebrate Pixar Pier by taking these iconic characters on a brand-new adventure.” This addition you their fleet adds even more excitement while flying with Alaskan Air and we look forward to seeing what the next plane will be painted of!
