A newly, refurbished, Haunted Mansion was waiting for park guests this past weekend. Guests would notice some fresh landscaping, as well as some extra care to the pet cemetery. There is also some new surprises waiting in the portrait hallway. Be on the lookout for some new enhancements, on some familiar faces.

But, the biggest surprise, for some lucky guests, was the secret entrance into the Haunted Mansion!

There is a special entrance into the attraction that hardly any guests have been able to go through. This option allows guests to skip the stretching room all together, and walk through a secret passageway. If you’re by the cemetery, on the far left, and look down, you’ll see the “secret” door.

Attractions 360 took to Twitter to share their experience of the secret entrance.

If you are given the option to take the stair for Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, take it! It’s an unique experience. Takes you straight to the ride. Waited 5 mins instead of 30 mins. #Disneyland

Shelby Young (voice actress for Star Wars) shared a video on her Twitter account, also sharing her experience.

Dude there’s a new “secret” entrance (I think new??) at Haunted Mansion so here’s @AJLoCascio and I geeking out #Disneyland

So, next time you’re at Disneyland, and hear “Welcome Foolish Mortals”, maybe you’ll be one of the lucky guests to experience this different view of the Haunted Mansion.

I grew up on Disney and being from Arizona, I was able to go every summer with my family. My love of all things Disney has just grown over time and have now been instilled into my marriage and our three wonderful kids! We love Disney and go as often as we can.
