Magic Kingdom Stops Coasters if a Guest Removes Mask

The Magic Kingdom, and all of Disney for that matter, takes their mask policy very seriously. So much so, that they will stop a coaster if someone is caught removing their mask. This pandemic has put a stop to a lot of things. But this is exactly why Disneyworld is still open. There’s no messing around when it comes to masks.

Cast Members at the Magic Kingdom have reportedly stopped rides like the Carousel of Progress attraction. Midway through the first four acts, a guest removed their mask. Disney stopped the attraction and warned the guest to put their mask back on before they continued.

The Carousel of Progress is obviously an easy attraction to stop. But now, there seems to be confirmation that Disney will not only stop a slow moving attraction, but a coaster as well. Disney takes their Health and Safety rules very seriously.

According to park goer @BlackbeardMatt, it appears to have been the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that was stopped. It was right at the top, after going through the mines. Cast members stopped the ride for about thirty seconds.

Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages two and up) and Cast Members. Please bring your own face coverings, and wear them at all times (except when dining or swimming). You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking. But, you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

In other words, if you’re going to Disneyworld, just wear a mask.
