Take Your Kids on a “Schoolcation” to Disney World

Summer is over, and it’s back to school time. As our kids return to school, we face a new reality, remote learning. To grapple with this new reality, the Four Seasons at Disney World is offering a new solution, a “schoolcation.”

The Orlando resort is offering its own version of school. The “supervised school sessions” allow children to do schoolwork while their parents enjoy a vacation. The day includes not only homework help, but other activities such as arts and crafts, gym, swimming, and more. During recess, the kids have access to the Explorer Island water park as well.

Of course, social distancing will be in effect. Only 6 children are allowed per session. Each child will have their own desk in a ballroom at the resort, socially distanced. There is access to high-speed Wifi in order to accommodate virtual learning. Each session costs $50 for a half-day session and $100 for a full-day session. They are available to guests of the Four Seasons resort Monday – Friday. So far, the resort already has children signed up for 5 different dates that started this week.
