Smith was going through the park security line with her 7-month-old baby, 7-year-old son, and her baby’s father when they were escorted to a security office. It was there that a security member, “opened the diaper bag and observed the firearm in plain view, as well as a plastic baggie [gallon size] with what appeared to be cannabis,” the report said.

An Orange County deputy responded to the report at Epcot. A 9mm handgun was identified, along with a .45 handgun that was found upon further search of the diaper bag. Smith admitted that both firearms and marijuana belonged to her.

According to authorities, Smith did not have a concealed carry permit. Regardless of this, Disney prohibits all guests, even ones with concealed carry permits, from bringing firearms into the parks.

Every year there are at least one or two guests who try to enter the theme parks with firearms or illegal substances. Disney has not made an official statement on this report.
