The remake of the popular 1961 film was a major hit in 1998, launching the career of Lindsay Lohan and was one of the few remakes that struck a cord with movie-goers and critics. For the first time since 1998, some of the cast was reunited for a discussion about the film including some behind-the-scenes gems, reenacting some of their favorite lines and everything fans should know about the film.
Katie Couric was joined on Instagram by some of the cast including Lindsay Lohan (Hallie and Annie), Dennis Quaid (Nick Parker), Elaine Hendrix (Meredith), Lisa Ann Walter (Chessy), Director Nancy Meyers and others as they discussed topics such as the casting of Lindsay Lohan and highlighted some of their favorite scenes with clips included.
The reunion was also used as an opportunity to assist a worthy cause, helping raise money and awareness for chef Jose Andres’ non-profit organization, World Central Kitchen that helps feed those in need across the world.
