“When they find out who you are they will show you no mercy,” and from the look on Mulan’s face when these words are spoken to her, she doesn’t care, and she’s still going going to fight. The live-action adaptation of “Mulan” will be in theaters March 27, 2020, and the latest trailer left us with goosebumps.
Although there was initial outcry regarding some of the character and plot changes, this new trailer is absolute proof that change can be good, and we’re getting pretty excited to see this the more we learn. This latest trailer is visually stunning as well as emotionally charging, with Mulan making the same decision she did in the cartoon movie: to take her ailing father’s place in battle despite the consequences she knows she could face, and her journey she endures after what she starts.
“Loyal, Brave, and True. It is my duty to protect my family.” We can’t wait to see this in theaters and watch Mulan do what she does best: bring honor to us all.
