WDW Railroad & Speedway taking a break??? (Temporarily)

Railroad & Speedway are turning its engines off, while temporarily, starting 2018!

Next stop…OUT OF SERVICE???  Say it ain't so!

Disney has announced that the Walt Disney World Railroad, that runs the perimeter of Magic Kingdom, and Tomorrowland Speedway, will turn off their engines starting at the end of 2018, to make way for Tron's construction.  This move is temporary but Disney has not announced a reopen date.

The locomotive will be parked at Main Street station and will be available to guests for viewing and photos.  The Speedway will close for a brief time in 2019, for track adjustment due to construction, and will reopen in the summer of 2019.  Tron's construction is due to be completed by the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021.

 Stay tuned for more information!

Hi everyone!

I’d love for you to get to know a little about this Disney Dad from NJ.  My name is John and I have been going to Disney since 1982 (wow, that seems forever ago!).  I am married to my fellow Disney addict wife and have two Disney nut children (6y & 2y).  I have travelled with big groups, with children (young & old) and everything in between.

I’d love to be a part of getting your Disney fix!  Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments!

See ya real soon!
